I Got This Fur Free

A woman in Johnstown decided at some point that she no longer anted this mink wrap, so she gave it to my sister (she lived nearby).  For free.  My sister knew she would never wear it.  So she gave it to me.  For free.

I have honestly wanted to wear it forever, but never have anywhere fancy enough to wear it.  But, I figured that I could pull off a "oh this old thing?" with some really comfy Sunday threads.

Today, I attended a Bridal Festival at The Ranch in Loveland.  It was a whirlwind of wedding stuff.  There were bakers, photographers, DJs, venues, bridal gown shops and caterers.  Needless to say, I ate a lot o' cake.  Good cake.  Lots.

Before I went gaga for weddings, I had lunch with the bestie, Chris at Ingredient in FoCo.  It was a great atmosphere, very modern.  The chicken and bread were a bit dry, but the fries and chips were killer.

Now I'm home and it seems unnatural that I have to go to work tomorrow.  These long weekends have really been screwing with me.  Two days off definitely doesn't seem like enough.

Other than  matrimonial mayhem, I have also been spending some time with family.  Last night was my niece Emma's third birthday party.  She is so cute.  To be honest, we've had some troubles clicking because she is such a mama's girl, but she is coming around.

In addition to that, Pat and I had a riveting Saturday night.  Kaden stayed the night at a friend's house last night, so we had a childless night on a weekend.  Buuuuuuuut . . . Patrick had some work to take care of, so we had to stay in.

So what did I do?  I went through my closet and made multiple outfits with my new dress form from Christmas.  Patrick has affectionately started calling this "playing with my doll."  I guess there are some things that I will never grow out of.
