Auntie Knows Best

Is it really only two in the afternoon?  It feels like it should be much later.  Even though it is Saturday, Pat and I had to set our alarms.  Kaden had a football game, Conner had taekwando and Brielle had dance class.

And now my nieces just came over.  I am watching them for my sister and her hubbie while they are off enjoying their 6 year anniversary.

It's hard to think that they have already been together for six years.  It seems like just the other day Dion was flying to the states from Australia to meet us!

So for those of you not keeping a head count, that is five kids, ages 10, 6, 5, 4 and 2, at my house today.  This will be so much fun!

I've had this outfit in my head for a while now and today was the perfect day to wear it because it is effortless and comfy.

The great thing about kids is that the more you have, the easier it is to watch them actually because they entertain themselves.  My nieces are interested in their different surroundings and different toys, and my kids are excited to have company.

Let the games begin!  Have a great weekend everyone!

  3. HOLY lots of kids batman! That will be busy, but like you said, kids tend to entertain themselves so between dinner and bedtime could be alright.

The pairing of coloured jeans and a chambray shirt is perfect! If I have a chambray shirt I would definitely be copying this!

  6. LOL thanks Sorren! It was a lot of fun. Also, I would DEF recommend getting a chambray shirt if you can. You will be amazed at how versatile it is. I wear mine like once a week!
