The first thing you probably notice in these shots is my hair. My mom called me up randomly asking me if I wanted her to come and do my hair. That's right. Out the box. I'd love to get my hair professionally dyed, but round here we are fru-gal. That's how we do. So, Superman red it is. This is the color I prefer my hair to be and it usually is (when I'm not being lazy). She'll calm down in a few days.


I love the pockets on this skirt. It was one of my treasured finds from my thrift binge this last weekend from Hope's Store House. I also love the color. I don't know why, but every time I want a bang of color, I go for red.


In fact, I have so much red in contrast to other colors that I have not been able to do much color blocking. Well, here ya go. Not a great example but if the shoe fits . . .
