Superwoman
Music Playlist at MixPod.com
After being inspired by this Pixie in Pumps post where she takes her photos at a skate park, I decided to try it on my own at the skate park by where my son's baseball practice (before the big game) was.
I'm gonna let you guys in on something. I have been massively stressed out and run ragged. Take today for example, I woke up at 7, got ready, went up to pick up my son (30 minutes away), back to the town I live in to pick up balloons for my niece's birthday party, up to Miliken (35-40 minutes away) where my sister lives to deliver said balloons, help her set up for my niece's birthday party, drive back down the south side of the town I live in (40 minutes away) to get my son's baseball pictures taken, then back into town for the game at 2. Pheeeeeeeew. I haven't sat down yet today until, well, right now. And after I post this puppy, I have a list of chores awaiting me. It never ends I tell you!
Aside from running the heels off of most of my precious shoes at this point day in and day out, I also have a lot of really stressful personal stuff going on right now to say the least. I am so incredibly thankful for Patrick. He knows how to keep me grounded, focused, positive and calm.
In this time in my life, it has become very difficult not to judge myself or get down on myself. However, I have to remember all the wonderful things in my life that I am thankful for. I have a perfect boyfriend, amazing and beautiful and healthy kids, a roof over my head and a great job. I have people that I can count on without question. That, my friends, is what is important.
Tomorrow, we get to go to a Rockies game for my son's baseball league. Although I am a hater of 99% of all sports and sports related activities (waaaaay too much testosterone for me), I can really get down on some baseball. My son's game today, btdubbs, perfection! He slammed a ball out into left field and then one to the right field that got away from the outfielders. Then, he dramatically slid into home to score the tying run. He is just amazing and I love every minute of it!
Well, I'd love to stay and chat, but I hear Goldilocks (my car) calling my name to be cleaned out. Needless to say, she is suffering the consequences of a busy schedule as well . . .
