I have to say, I'm not a big TV fan. Before Patrick, I didn't even have cable. And we got rid of ours a few months ago too. We mostly entertain ourselves with documentaries on Netflix.
But over the last couple of years we've gotten into several television series. I have to admit I was having a hard time coming up with a Mission for next week.
At first I was going to do a Mission on packing for vacation--kind of like a 30 for 30 ordeal. Because we are going on a family vacation in a couple of weeks. But then I thought that would be stupid because I plan on wearing shorts a lot on vacation . . . and I can't really do shorts too well at work.
So instead, I thought of paying a bit of a tribute, if you will, to the leading ladies that I have been admiring on television by taking one of them each day next week and trying to dress in their style.
To give you a few ideas, I plan on going with Gemma Teller of Sons of Anarchy, Ava Crowder from Justified, Nancy Botwin of Weeds and Blair Waldorf of Gossip Girl.
All distinct but amazing styles. I am pretty stoked. And you should join me! From Monday, June 24th through Friday, June 28th, emulate one of your favorite leading ladies' styles and post your link on Friday, June 28th!
