This look for Mission Week with maxis is a lot more rocker-esque than any of the other looks. Which is very true to me because deep down, I'm a rock n roll gal.
Well for those of you who do not know, Colorado is on fire again. It is so sad. It's amazing to think about just how dry a state that gets so much snow can be in the summer time.
This one is down by where my mom lives. She's fine and has not been evacuated as of yet, but the ashes and smoke from the fire are reaching all the way up to Denver.
The weather here has been dry and super duper hot. This is our fourth or fifth day in a row in the high 90's. It's pretty remarkable how much variation is in our weather.
For example, when these photos were taken about a week ago, the skies were cloudy, rain was sprinkling and the temps were in the 70's.
So, if you would, please send some good thoughts this way to the fire fighters and those that are being evacuated from their homes.
