Birthday Week, Day 2--Babe Ruth

I also share my birthday with Babe Ruth, a legend in baseball.   This is always the look I have the hardest time with during my Birthday Inspiration Week.  In truth, I'm not much of a sporty girl.

But I figure that track pants and a referee-esque blouse would pretty much do the trick.  Pretty sporty for my tastes, says I.

Usually, Patrick and I do something together for our birthdays since there is a weekend between them.  And we usually spend that weekend in the hot springs.  But we had to skip out this year because . . .

I'm lame right now.  Being pregnant, I can't do anything.  I can't partake in the hot springs--you can't go in water above a certain temperature.  I can't drink.  Black Hawk, the casinos, dance clubs and the like are out.   Plus, I'm exhausted.  All.  The.  Time.  By 9:30 every night, I'm done.

Not to mention, we are now saving for a baby.  So my physical limitations coupled with being budget friendly has been quite challenging.  So, we didn't end up doing anything.

But it's ok.   It's all for a good cause.  And, we've got BIG plans for my actual birthday.  Well, I do.  It's the Goodwill Fashion Show.  And Patrick's coming with me.  And Tim Gunn will be there.  And we get to do a meet and greet with him.  Just rubbing elbows with a fashion legend.  No biggie.
