The next Mission Week will be quite a challenge indeed, but I accept the challenge. Menswear. It is a difficult style for anyone to master--particularly when you are female. And pregnant.
My daughter has been cracking me up lately. She is almost 7 and to the age that teeters between adorable independence and somewhat irritable defiance. She has said things in the past few weeks that have left me bewildered.
Last week, I was driving my daughter and younger son to school. As I drove, I applied lip gloss. "What is that?" I heard my daughter ask from the back seat.
"It's just lip gloss," I told her. "Would you like some?"
"Ugh," she scoffed. "No! I don't want to get pregnancy face!"
Interesting. I don't know where it came from. I don't know what it meant. But it did make me smile thinking about it all day.
