Share the Covers--Groovin' on a Sunday Afternoon

Ok so it's not exactly a cover, but it's still two versions of the same melody.  Here is the original song by the Young Rascals . . .

And the "cover" by Lighter Shade of Brown . . .

Well summer is officially wrapping up.  It's getting dark earlier.  The air is cooler.  Leaves litter the sidewalks.  And, even though this sounds a little crazy, you can actually smell the fall in the air.

Now I have nothing against fall.  I like fall.  But what I don't like is winter, snow and cold.  And that is what follows fall.  So fall is a reminder to me that the days will be shorter, the air will be colder and the drives will be longer and littered with snow and ice.

But the good parts of fall, and ultimately winter, is that it gives us more time to slow down and enjoy family time.  We get more warm snuggles and we get more Sunday afternoons to just mosey about being lazy.  That works.
