I Heart NY

MusicPlaylist

I feel like kind of a poser in this shirt.  But legit at the same time because I did get it in New York City.

I may or may not in raced off of the plane from Denver into the JFK Airport on a mission to find an I <3 NY shirt.

Lucky for me, they are in high supply.  I snagged this baby up asap, forgot about it on honeymoon and remembered it in a moment of "all my clothes have sand and ocean water in them".

I kind of forgot I was wearing it until Patrick and I were on the elevator with a gentleman who turned to us and asked "So what part New York y'all from?"

I was confused for a minute, then looked down at my shirt and it connected.  "Um, the airport," I reply sheepishly.  Wa waaaaaaa.

At any rate, this got me thinking a bit and my argument here is . . . do people who are from New York actually wear I <3 New York shirts?

What would they think of my imposter-like sporting of this shirt?  Would they even care?

At any rate, minus the heels this is what I wore for a casual Saturday.  And by that I mean that each of the boys had a football game and the remainder of the day was spent on a much needed deep cleaning of the house and the kids' rooms.

When we got back from the honeymoon, our house was completely destroyed.  I tried to tell my mom that she and my brother would need reinforcements, but she declined.

She had these grandiose Nana-plans to  make the kids pancakes every morning, take the Halloween shopping and keep up with all homework and tutoring work plus get them to and from football activities.

She meant well and she tried.  She really did, but . . . it's harder than it looks raising these kids!  She did leave a note.  It was something to the effect of "I, Nana, did not get the laundry done.  Or Kumon.  Sorry about the mess.  I respect you more than ever now! Love more!"  Oh mom.  We love you.
