A few weeks back, it snowed here. In fact, we had a cold spell that lasted almost two weeks. This week we are expecting highs in the 50s and even 60s--unheard of in Colorado in December. Nonetheless, this made for the perfect opportunity to do a Mission Week on must have outerwear.
Enter the peacoat. It's classic, it's a perfect silhouette and it suits any body type. I happened to get this one on the fly at Saver's about eight or nine years ago. It is a size or two big for me, but I like that. It's warm and comfy and looks fabulous.
I got a lot of holiday stuff done this weekend and that feels great. I can't believe we are less than three weeks from Christmas. With Thanksgiving coming so late this year, I felt behind before the season was even technically here.
But we have most of our shopping done (without even stepping foot in a store--thanks Amazon Prime!) and even some wrapped. I have our cards addressed and our house is totally festive-fied. We've watched about a half dozen of our stash of holiday movies.
Now it's just time to get the tree! And decorate it! And bake all the things! And hang up our outside lights! Ok, so we still have some to do--but that's the great thing about the holidays. It's a lot of work. But the work is fun.
